The Love Oven @ NextDoor

NextDoor is on point these days... lots of fun stuff going on there almost every day of the week.

I was just there on Wednesday for the old school hip-hop edition of Acid Wash Wednesday, and I'm contemplating going back for the debut of The Love Oven on Thursday.

Here's a little something that NextDoor's Lacy Matsumoto wrote about the new party:

The former Roots Juice party held at Big City Diner was a fusion between mainstream, old school, underground, and scensters. Holding the same consistancy of good entertainment, fresh new faces in the crowd, and an exciting sex appeal, this party has not changed anything but the name and the location. Kicking off the first party is Jennifer Johns, this bad ass soulful feamle vocalist is the perfect way to share the love. As the new weekly at Next Door this party is expected the maintain its high standards, and combine all groups of people in the 'LOVE OVEN'.

Doors open at 9 p.m. on Thursday, and there's no cover before 10 p.m.
