Tool @ Blaisdell in August

Hot on the heels of Star 101.9's announcement that Hoobastank will headline Band Camp IV at the Waikiki Shell on Aug. 5, word comes from Jason Miller at 808shows.com that Tool will visit Aug. 18 and Aug. 19. That's lead singer Maynard Keenan, more recently of A Perfect Circle fame, in the picture above.

Nothing's listed yet on Tool's official website, but it does list shows in Japan the week before, so it's very well possible that the band could play here afterward.

I'm also a little confused... Miller has Tool performing at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

For real?

Wonder if that means it's going to be some acoustic set, or Honolulu Symphony collabo or something...
