Soldiers Of Jah Army @ Pipeline

East Coast reggae band Soldiers of Jah Army headlines "Straight Roots" tonight at Pipeline Cafe, with local acts Ooklah the Moc, Humble Soul and T.H.C. scheduled to open.

According to SOJA's website, the band will kick off their 2006 "Get Wiser Tour" with shows on Oahu and Maui before moving on to the mainland.

"Their pure roots reggae will pulse all over for the next few months, spreading 'equal parts (of) blazing fire and healing water, full of locked in riddims and quietly powerful vocals' (The Beat, Feb 05).

Not only will you find them in your favorite local club – SOJA’s playing the big summer festivals as well – check them out at Reggae on the River & the All Good Festival!"
